Is Kontera The best Alternative to Adsense? Kontera is on fire, they have really stepped up their marketing efforts and they are emerging as one of the leaders in contextual advertising. They have partnered up with a couple of major sites and have become one of the top affiliate partners. One of the sites doesn’t even share its Kontera revenues with the writers. Initially it almost drove me away from participating but I later had a change of heart. The reason I had a change of heart is that most people run both Adsense and Kontera together to inhance revenue. I still receive Adsense revenue and I am not concerned with losing a few cents from Kontera. The contextual advertising Kontera has, rarely correlates to the subject matter. Therefore it is scarce when readers actually click on the ads. So this brings us back to the main question again. Is Kontera the best alternative for Google’s adsense? They might be the best someday but only if Google buys them.
