Felons can be good fellas. Just because you commited a felony doesn’t make you a bad person. It means at some point in your life you made a really poor decision in judgement. Below are a few job tips for felons, that may help you land a job.

1. Make sure you have a clean appearance. ( You have to make a good first impression).

2. Be honest about your felony. ( Honesty is the best policy).

3.  Talk about what changes you have made in your life.  ( The employer needs to know why they should hire you).

4.  Have good references. ( Don’t use a former inmate as a reference, try and talk to an old teacher that will vouch for you).
