When tasting wine, I had been in the “yuk” or “yum” school; I either liked the wine on offer, or I didn’t. But now, that I’ve taken some wine classes, I am able to separate some aromas and some flavors.
Wine is so complex, that to separate out the flavors was rather difficult but the wine classes have changed that.
Now, I can comment on the wine with some degree of knowledge. I’m still learning but even people who have been taking wine classes and tasting for many years confirm this is a subject with life long learning potential. For more about wine.
