I am currently trialling rosehip oil for the skin on my face and neck. Because I live on the beach I find myself often burnt and dry. Even though I put on a sunscreen and wear a hat I still get skin damage which is either traumatic or long-term.
Rosehip oil is said to increase moisture and reduce scars, restores skin structure and tone and the overall appearance of skin.
I have been using it for about two weeks now and it seems to be doing wonders. I do invest in expensive face creams for women from time to time, but I am quite surprised that the oil is working wonders. It seems so simple yet so effective.
The other big thing is that I have grown up with bad acne prone skin and have been using that product range called Proactiv which in fact has been amazing for me as an adult. My skin has not broken out since using Proactiv. More than happy to go on TV for them to promote it because it works. But the big thing is that I stopped using Proactiv when I started the rosehip oil and my skin has not broken out at all. I am using the Trilogy rosehip oil. I think they deliver all around the world – not sure.
Anyway it certainly is a cheaper option. If I can cut out the expensive women’s anti-ageing creams and the Proactiv, then I have essentially saved myself a lot of money. Only time will tell though.
Hopefully this oil will look after me in my mature years and keep me looking youthfull.
I think I heard once on a maternity ward that a lady was using the oil during pregnancy to avoid getting stretch marks and it worked.
