Saw Palmetto Effective Against Hair Loss?

Many herbal practitioners prescribe saw palmetto as a cure for hair loss. Saw palmetto is a powerful DHT reducer and has been shown in clinical trials to be effective for those suffering from an enlarged prostate. There have not been many trials done on saw palmetto for hair loss however. Small trials seem to show that it is as effective as Propecia.
