After being released from a hospital where this 32-year-old man had been recovering from a domestic dispute on January 1, where he had been hit with a table leg and frying pan, he called another ex-girlfriend to see if she would pay for his pain medication.

She agreed and met him at a local Pennsylvania Walmart.  When she stepped up to pay for the drugs, the man stole $50 cash from her, ran from the store, jumped on a Walmart electric handicap shopping scooter — and still in his hospital gown tried to escape.

He is currently in jail and has no attorney.
