Cavan Bakery successfully applied for a loan of £31,000 from the Carbon Trust. The loan was used to replace the bakery’s 1940’s gas ovens with one Steam Oven. This saved significant space, made for a better working environment and reduced the energy bills for the ovens by 75% per annum. Caven Bakery is considering another interest free loan to buy energy efficient delivery vans.
