Hadleigh castings received an interest free loan from the UK Government via its Carbon Trust.  The loan was used to buy and install a new air compressor after the old compressor had failed.  The new compressor was of the variable type and, calculated on energy prices at the time of its installation (end of 2008) will save the company £11,330 per year
