Toughglass was spending £500,000 per year on energy needed to manufacture 4,000 square metres of glass per week.  With a loan from the Carbon Trust, Toughglass were able to install new energy efficient fans which saved £45,000 a year.  The company is currently applying for a loan to purchased a new compressed air system.
