Maxim Logistics applied for and successfully received a loan from the Carbon Trust (financed by the UK Government) to pay for the greater amount for installing an energy efficient lighting system. In the first month that the new lighting system was installed the company saved over £1,700 on their energy bill compared to what they had paid for the same period the year before. It was estimated that maxim will save the cost of the loan within 2 years
