This is a stunning, well built household, with windows and doors that open and close and other stunning items like a wound stairway and dormer windows. And the pieces of furniture and accessories available individually are as well adorable and well worked. I enjoy the fact that the inhabitants of the household are creatures, they give it such a storybook\ character.
My daughters (2 and 4) can’t cease pretending with their mansion and critter household. Sure, several of the add-ons are tiny, but that’s what appears to charm their attention and imaginations the most.
At 1st, I intended to purchase a wooden house for them, but they hardly play with the one they have at their preschool, generic furniture and furnishings for those wooden houses aren’t very interesting. With the Calico Critters Townhome, they play for hours putting their critters to bed, giving them baths or setting up little picnics. My daughters were drawn to the Calico Critters Townhome in the toy store like magnets, so I could tell that was the one for us.
