This article on Aussie and American slang and other interesting words and phrases draws to a close with this article. I thank you for stopping by, and I hope I provided some light entertainment. America is a wonderful place, and if you ever get the chance to take your vacation here, you will be made more than welcome, no matter where you go.
Chicken Fried Stuff. If you love chicken but feel confused when you see several “chicken fried” things on the menu and find it hard to make a decision, just tell your server you’ll have chicken. I can almost guarantee it’ll be fried anyway, but if you aren’t specific you might find beef or pork in your chicken fried item instead. If you can crumb it and fry it, which applies to just about anything, it’s going to be known as “chicken fried whatever that is”. I love the chicken fried chicken best of all, it just makes sense.
Beans. I love beans of any kind, and served any way they come. Green beans, brown beans, white beans, black beans, red beans and rice, cowboy beans, baked beans, kidney beans or ham & beans. If it’s hot weather you might like to have bean salad. Beans go well with anything, except my husband.
