With all the consumer bad news coming out of China, here is another to add to your list.
Friday, the Consumer Product Safety Commission and the Department of Housing and Urban Development urged consumers to remove “all possible problem drywall” and replace their electrical wiring, residential fire sprinkler systems, home smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms.
The Chinese drywall emits hydrogen sulfide at rates 100 times the rates of non-Chinese samples.
