Pokemon Black and White – New Pokemon Game Released for Nintendo DS

The new Generation V Pokemon game has been announced for the Nintendo DS.

Don’t expect the game to actually be black and white! Word around the internet so far is that official game release will be sometime this fall in Japan. No word on the date for the US release.

Nintendo has a track record of opposite colors if you look at the previous titles:  Red/Blue, Gold/Silver, etc.  So Nintendo is sticking with what works. It’s expected that this is for the DS, not the Nintendo 3DS!  At least this way, you don’t have to buy a new system right away.

So  far, the only details announced are two Pokémon named Zorua and Zoroark, who will appear in the forthcoming thirteenth Pokémon film. More information will be revealed on April 15, 2010. Stay tuned.
