Whirlpool Corporation owns this KitchenAid brand. Started in 1919 by The Hobart Corporation, it gives the restaurants the counter top alternative to the industrial sized mixers. So out of this comes brand quality where each unit is hand assembled to this day. The competitors of KitchenAid include Borch, Fagor and Electrolux.

This particular appliance boasts a 325W mixer with 10 speeds in a 5-quart stainless steel bowl. The head can be tilted backward for easy access to the contents while an accessory in the form of a pouring shield with large chute is included for adding the ingredients to the mix.  Included in the package are flat beater, wire whip and dough hook.

The mixer measures 14 by 8-222/3 inches by 14 inches. Above all, it comes with a 1 year warranty. Most users have described the purchase as an excellent and worthy investment.
