Lawn Boy 10640 20-Inch 6.75 GT Briggs & Stratton Gas Powered Lawn Mower

Lawn Boy 10640

If you are a  homeowner seeking a reliable mower that is budget-friendly and back to basics, Lawn-Boy introduces a new line of mowers that is built with the exact quality and craftsmanship Lawn-Boy is known for. These mowers are hardworking and trustworthy – carrying on the tradition that has made Lawn-Boy a backyard icon. These mowers are “roll up your sleeves” lawn equipment that have the power to cut it in the real world and don’t require a second thought or a second pull, making them the clear cut choice for homeowners.  Cut height goes up to 4 inches. Rare to see that in a mower in this price range. The one-piece handle is sturdy, but you may want to cushion it with a piece of foam if you are using the mower for a long periods of time since that will cut down or eliminate numbness in your  hands from the vibrations.

“This is the mower for people who don’t like mowers. It’s reasonably priced, stupidly easy to assemble, quiet-running (for a mower), clean-cutting, and easy to push. The startup procedure couldn’t be simpler: just pull the cord. No priming. I’ve had it for three months now, and the most it’s ever taken to start is two pulls.
By the way, if you’re deciding between the self-propelled and non-propelled mower, I strongly recommend the non-propelled one. Besides being cheaper, it’s actually easier to use. Self-propelled mowers inevitably have to be pushed sometimes, especially when cutting around shrubs and trees, and their transmission adds a tremendous amount of drag to the wheels. It’s less tiring to cut the lawn with a non-propelled machine.”
