The Pentax Optio series is a line of consumer digital cameras manufactured by Pentax Corporation. It is one of the earliest mass-market examples of a digital point-and-shoot camera, and encompasses the bulk of Pentax’s lower-end camera sales. These products typically range in cost from $200-$500 USD, with specific “W” models targeted for underwater and outdoor use.

The Pentax 12.-megapixel Optio P80 sports a compact, ultra-slim body that is ideal for travel, events and day-to-day activities. With a high-grade aluminum-alloy housing and delicately contoured chrome-plated design, the Optio P80 offers a stylish, elegant finish.
