If your at this review article then you or someone you know is having a baby or at least planning on having one in the near future. As a father I am going to give you a first hand review of the Fisher Price Papasan Cradle Baby Swing Natures Touch. I will tell you right now this is a excellent review and we loved ours. That being said I am sure you would want a little more detail so here are some of the reasons we loved the swing.

First the basic product features:

• Swing provides soothing swinging with both front to back like a traditional swing, and side to side motion like a cradle swing
• An overhead motorized mobile incorporates 3 characters including a bird, a butterfly, and a dragonfly
• Mirrored globe allows baby to see all that surrounds them
• Features 6 speeds, 8 soothing songs, and soothing nature sounds
• Folds for storage

Now on to the good stuff. First and most important is comfort for the baby. My daughter loved the seat and could actually fall asleep in it even if it was not moving. There is plenty of room for her to move but not enough that she is unstable. The head rest is also an excellent addition as it keeps her head right in place without effecting her ability to see what is going on around her.

The next thing is the fact that it swings both forward to back as well as side to side. I never really thought it would make much of a difference but, the side to side motion is great when it comes to settling her down if she is cranky and /or uncomfortable. Front to back s good as well but there are just some times when the only way to get her calm is that side to side swinging motion.

The mobile is very cute and she loves to watch it when she starts to fade. The mobile both moves in a circle and the characters also spin at the same time. The mirror on the botom of the mobile is also a nice touch and again keeps my daughter occupied and relaxed.

I have to say that everyone in the house gets a lot more rest when our daughter is in the swing. It relaxes her and the house is finally quite for a while. She takes some of her longest naps in the swing so we can get some stuff done around the house or even take a short nap ourselves if need be.
