While most countries celebrate Mothers Day on the second Sunday of May which happens to be May 9 this year (2010) while Fathers Day is celebrated in most countries on the third Sunday in the month of June. Whatever be the day of celebration, it is the reason or purpose behind celebrating that makes a Father’s Day or Mothers Day special. These are wonderful events to express our gratitude by way of gifts and gestures to say thanks to our parents.
