With the Kentucky Derby, you always think of Mint Julep.  You do not have to be at Churchill Downs to get a great Mint Julep. You can actually make one yourself at home.

Here is a great Mint Julep recipe from Food Network.  You will need 4 cups of bourbon, 2 bunches of fresh spearmint, 1 cup granulated sugar, powdered sugar and 1 cup distilled water.
