Floyd “Money” Mayweather and “Sugar” Shane Mosley prepare to face off on Saturday May 2, 2010 on PPV. This is perhaps the most anticipated fight of the last 15 years. You’ll remember a few months ago the hype surrounding a possible matchup between Manny Pacquiao and Mayweather that never materialized due to Mayweather’s insistence of stronger pre-fight drug testing. It was speculated that both fighters would have received close to $40 million for what was being described as the possible “fight of the century”. But it seems that Mayweather’s ability to sell fights will net him close to $40 million without having to fight Pacquiao to get it.
