How To Save Money On Bathroom Lights

Saving money on bathroom lights is a fairly easy task to accomplish.  These savings are compounded when you are doing all of the work yourself, instead of hiring a professional.  In this article, I want to show you a few simple ways to save a lot when doing the shopping for this project so that you can get exactly what you want without breaking the bank!

The material that you choose will greatly effect the price.  Brushed nickel bathroom lights are a great way to save some serious cash.  They are cheaper because they take less to make.  At the core, they are brass, which is a very affordable material.

Rather than installing multiple light fixtures throughout the room, consider using just one vanity light that stretches the length of the mirror.  Having just one fixture is cheaper to both buy and install.  This does not work, however, if you have a bathroom with odd corners as the light will not bend around them.  A simple ceiling light in that area will remedy that well.

If you are looking to increase bathroom lighting, start with some stuff that isn’t light!  Something as simple as swapping out for a lighter colored shower curtain or towels can make a huge impact in the amount of light that is reflected throughout the room, and it’s a heck of a lot cheaper!!

Bathroom lighting does not have to be expensive at all to do everything that you want it to.  Use the simple tips discussed here and you’ll be pleasantly surprised with the results!
