Kids have a lot of stuff; clothes, toys, books, coloring pens, and a lot more. In fact one room for one baby is not enough with his possessions. A storage room is an option or storage furniture is another.
I was dismayed by the sight that surprised me when I visited my daughter’s house. Everything is everywhere in her daughter’s room. The KidKraft Limited Edition Toy Chest comes into my mind when I saw the room.
I have one in the house bought not for the toys but for other stuff that is use from time to time and needs not to be place in the storage room. Instead I incorporated it in our living room more like a seating area not knowing by others that a storage space is inside.
The next day I ordered one for my granddaughter. This time instead of Cherry finish like the one I have, I ordered a white finish instead. I added a lavender cushion on top to serve as a bench and her stuff toys inside. It is all-wood with a safety hinges on the flip top. This is important especially if you have a child of less than 4 years to prevent from slamming shut on your child’s fingers.
