Among the more than 160 financial leasing institutions, 37 are domestic-invested pilot financial leasing companies jointly approved by Ministry of Commerce and State Administration of Taxation, 17 are financial leasing companies approved by China Banking Regulatory Commission (CBRC), and the rest 110 are foreign-invested financial leasing companies approved by Ministry of Commerce.
