You may be eligible if you bought Able Laboratories pharmaceutical products from October 1, 1999 to May 18, 2005. Able Laboratories sold these generic medicines without going through the FDA required tests to make sure that they are the bio-equivalent or the same as the brand name medicines.
The amount of the Able Laboratories Consumer Class Action Lawsuit Settlement is $9.15 million. If you wish to take part in this class action, you must submit a claim form by June 30, 2010. If you did not want to participate in the settlement you should have opted out of the Class by May 19, 2010. If you did not do this then, you can no longer do so now. If you wanted to object, the deadline was May 19, 2010. The Final Court hearing was on June 16, 2010.
