The AT&T Wireless Services Class Action Lawsuit Settlement actually involves more than one lawsuit. In fact there are 5 separate class action cases that are involved. Only one judge will preside over all the 5 cases. Apparently AT&T Wireless violated state and federal laws. They did this by charging for mMode even though the subscribes did not authorize this. AT&T Wireless also charged subscribers for EDID without authorization and UCC or Universal Connectivity Charge without the consent of the susbscribers. There were also Out-OF-Cycle Billing charges.
