Rosacea is a reddening of the skin. Rosacea is an inflammatory condition affecting the skin.
You will notice the outbreak of pimples, and the thin red lines on your skin, particularly the face.
Rosacea generally affects people over the age of 30. Both males and females are susceptible to the condition of Rosacea.
Nobody really knows the true cause of Rosacea. However, certain lifestyle choices can make the condition worse.

What are the symptoms of Rosacea?
Different people experienced Rosacea differently. Rosacea is mild for some people. However, Rosacea can cause swelling in other people. It is terribly embarrassing to have a swollen face due to Rosacea.

Rosacea: Flushing of the face.
This is a very common symptom of Rosacea. In fact, this is the often the first sign that something is wrong.
The persistent reddening of the face is due to the fact that blood vessels expand to cope with the increased blood flow to the face.
Rosacea: Red line
The red line and the outburst of pimples can occur at the same time. The pimples are different from that due to acne. The pimples are red in color. In fact, you will see that these pimples are red or white. Those pimples with pus will appear as white.
The red line is actually the enlarged blood vessel.
Rosacea: Swelling of the face.
In some cases, the face swells. Swelling of the face is not as common as the other symptoms mentioned above.
Rosacea: Nose enlargement.
This symptom generally affects older men. The nose becomes big as a result of Rosacea.
Rosacea: Eye problem.
Many patients noticed that they have certain eye problems as well. The eye problems can range from mild to serious.
The condition can range from dry eyes to inflammatory of the iris.
It is better to seek medical care immediately if you have Rosacea, especially when the eye problems surface.
