Cute and cosy, Number 16 serves some of the best and most thoughtful Scottish meals in the West End. With room for no more than about 30 diners at any one time, their mouth watering meals are intimate, to say the least.

Menus change with the season.  Expect such delights as seared scallops with black pudding, braised ham hock with oriental sauerkraut, juicy braised shoulder of lamb with olive and tomato crushed potatoes, and veggie choices like pan fried spiced chickpea cake with cucumber salad and yoghurt dressing… making a choice  can present problems…;-)

Number 16 offers top value pre theatre dining, in a very pleasant little dining room.  Service is just as friendly, with wait staff always happy to answer questions and make suggestions about what’s extra-good today.
