The Sisters Jordanhill welcomes diners with open arms – and a word of praise for having tracked their gorgeous little restaurant down…;-) Hiding from view, close to Jordanhill railway station, The Sisters Jordanhill has a cute restaurant, and a little fairy garden from eating outdoors in the Summer months.
Your hosts are experts at their trade. Confident and full of character, they conjure up super Scottish cuisine, and serve it with a casual flourish. Almost as soon as you take a seat, some of their home baked breads turn up, to keep you company.
Portions are generous, and diners always leave The Sisters Jordanhill very satisfied indeed. Expect to choose from the likes of seared scallops on a bed of black pudding, Gressingham breast of duck with chunky vegetables, pear and blue cheese tartlets, and something cool with chicken and haggis.
Above all, leave space to try a pudding – even if you share, and ask for two spoons…;-) Sticky toffee pudding doesn’t come any better than here, and treacle tart, when its on the menu, is possible addictive…
For top Scottish meals in a cute, hidden local setting, with excellent friendly service, The Sisters Jordanhill is the place to visit.
