One of the most funky restaurants in the West End of Glasgow, Cottier’s Restaurant sits pretty in a perfect spot. Part of a renovated church that includes a theatre, bar and beer garden, there’s a special energy and vibe here.
Built into the roof of the old church hall, Cotter’s Restaurant serves food that mixes Scottish with South American – and to very good effect, too.
Starters might include pan fried king prawns with a sweet chilli sauce, or Chiles Relenos – breaded jalapeno peppers stuffed with sour cream. Mains tempt with delights such as loin of swordfish, and Albondigas – spiced meat balls with braised tomato rice and sour cream. Delicious…;-)
Glowing golden and cosy, Cottier’s Restaurant has a crackling fire in Winter, and windows flung open to the sound of the laid back beer garden in Summer. What a super place for a laid back meal in a cool space. Maybe as part of a visit to Cottier’s Theatre? Have a lovely evening.
