MacBook Pro 13.3″
I was able to find the best price on the latest MacBook Pro 13.3 through Amazon that included free shipping and no taxes. Shipping was via UPS and arrived timely an in new condition. The product itself is amazing. This is my first Apple computer (converting from a PC) and so far, the transition has been a very pleasant one. There is a noticeable difference with the operating system software that will take about one week to get used to but not at all challenging. I purchased MS Office for Mac which makes using the usual MS products (Word, XL, ppt, etc) simple. Those programs have most of the MS features, however, the locations of the icons are a little different. The best features of this laptop is that it is incredibly fast! I flip open the lid and I am on the internet in <10 seconds every time. It does not get bogged down with antivirus programs, spamware, etc. The case, monitor and keyboard is of high quality. I recommend this laptop as a first choice. The 13.3″ is just the right size for personal use and very easy to travel or roam around the house with.

Apple knows how to do it
Absolutely love the Macbook Pro 13 … perfect size … nice and lightweight … wonderful screen … use it wirelessly with the Time Capsule … takes a bit to get used to the differences between a Windows PC and a MAC but not labor intensive at all … have used Dell and HP laptops previously but they do not hold a candle to the Macbook Pro … yes at first glance it seems expensive, but when you sit down and look at everything that comes with the MAC versus a Windows PC and what it would cost to add these features to the Windows PC the spread becomes smaller … reliability is FANTASTIC … it has not rebooted itself or “blue screened” itself even once … what a joy to work on a laptop that is reliable!! Looks fantastic and everyone is always remarking how great it looks … if I take 2 minutes and give them a brief demo of the MAC their jaw drops. Do not think that I will ever go back to a Windows PC again … once you have a MAC you don’t want to go back!! Saved a few dollars … plus no sales tax buying through Amazon. Great work sessions provided for free by Apple, plus the techs at Apple are always great to talk with. Also, if you are converting from a Windows PC to a MAC I would recommend the book “Switching to the MAC”, it is very helpful.
