The couple, famously known as Brangelina, raked in more than $478 million worldwide for the movie. They played secret assassins hired to kill each other. She next starred in Wanted in 2008, which was loosely based on the comic book miniseries of the same name by Mark Millar. She played Fox, one of the fraternity assassins.

The film grossed more than $341 million worldwide. And now, Angelina is back to kick some more asses in Salt. In the upcoming action thriller, she plays Evelyn Salt, a CIA agent who is accused of being a Russian spy. She then goes on the run using her years of training in order to clear her name and catch the real traitor. But her actions seem to put some doubt on who Salt really is. Is she really a spy or just wrongfully accused?

They both worked on the 1999 thriller The Bone Collector, along with Oscar winner Denzel Washington. Salt is also their comeback film. Angelina was last seen in Clint Eastwood’s Oscar nominated film The Changeling in 2008. Noyce’s last movie was Catch a Fire in 2006. The thriller was about the apartheid in South Africa and starred Tim Robbins and Derek Luke. Salt was first offered to Tom Cruise in 2007 but later passed on the project to work on Knight and Day with Cameron Diaz. He also added that the role closely resembled his character on the Mission: Impossible series, Ethan Hunt. The script was then sent to Angelina and loved the project of having a female spy franchise. The character was then changed to Evelyn Salt and shooting began in March 2009. To prepare for the film, Angelina began a rigid training so that she can perform her own stunts. But she suffered minor injury in May that year while filming for a fight sequence. But nothing serious happened and shooting resumed later that day.
