Jack Roush Plane Crash – Seriously Injured but Stable Condition

Jack Roush plane crash has caused him getting seriously injured.  Luckily, he is in a stable condition now. NASCAR team owner Jack Roush was forced to face this after walking away from a plane crash in Wisconsin on Tuesday night. Smith confirmed that the plane belonged to Roush, and he was flying it. Smith said Roush’s injuries include facial lacerations. Roush Fenway Racing president Geoff Smith said in a text message to The Associated Press, “There are injuries. Possible surgery, but he walked out of the plane.”

From the team’s information, Roush was landing his plane when the accident occurred. As you know, this week, he was attending the Experimental Aircraft Association’s annual AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wis. The accident occurred at approximately 6:15 p.m. CDT. The statement said, “Each exited the aircraft following the accident. Both were transported to local hospitals, with Roush in serious but stable condition and Strickland with non-life threatening injuries. The NTSB is leading the investigation into the accident.”

Jack Roush as the co-owner of Roush racing was hospitalized following the accident. The EAA released a statement on its website saying Brenda Strickland of Plymouth, Michigan was also on the plane. Roush is well known in the racing circuit and at AirVenture where he has a performance display in the Ford Hanger.  He is scheduled to sign autographs there tomorrow and was at an AirVenture presentation Tuesday morning. His jet, a Raytheon/Beechcraft Premier 390, broke in two and appears to be a total loss. Witnesses say he stalled following what appeared to be an aborted landing attempt, dropped a wing, and then impacted the runway. No flames or smoke were seen.

The National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) makes and enforces numerous rules and regulations that transcend all racing series. NASCAR issues a different rule book for each racing series; however, rule books are published exclusively for NASCAR members and are not made available to the public. Still, many of the rules, such as the scoring system, have been widely publicized both by NASCAR and the media.

Jack Roush plane crash has actually remembered the same experience that was ever faced by 68-year-old. As you know, he also survived a plane crash in 2002, when his aircraft crashed into an Alabama lake. Officials say it could be weeks before the cause of the crash is known. The crash stopped take-off and landing operations at EAA AirVenture as crews cleaned up the wreckage.  Wittman Regional Airport operations normally stop at 8:00 p.m.
