I have created this site to offer help and advice for Hemorrhoid Sufferers . I would like to start by saying that by no means am I an expert on this subject.But i do understand your worries and anxietys as i to was a long time sufferer, not knowing what is happening to your body can completly stress some people out and no doubt you proberly have loads of questions like,is this a Hemorrhoid,i’m to young to have Hemorrhoids,i’m to embarrassed to see the doctor,and loads more so i am here to help.Firstly i just want to say you are not alone. Millions of people are suffering with this condition silently, which affects their lifestyle and work.
One thing that is known for sure is that hemorrhoids are caused  by your daily lifestyle and diet. It is crucial for you to seek help early so that your condition does not get worse and more painful.

So lets start with  Signs and symptoms

Hemorrhoids are usually benign. In most cases, symptoms will resolve within a few days. External hemorrhoids are painful while internal hemorrhoids usually are not,here are in most cases signs to look out for if you suspect you may be suffering from hemorroids
             ■Painless bleeding during bowel movements — you might notice small amounts of bright red blood on your toilet

                tissue or in the toilet bowl
             ■Itching or irritation in your anal region
             ■Pain or discomfort
             ■Hemorrhoids protruding from your anus
             ■Swelling around your anus
             ■A sensitive or painful lump near your anus
             ■Leakage of feces

The most common symptom of internal hemorrhoids is bright red blood covering the stool, a condition known as hematochezia, on toilet paper, or in the toilet bowl. They may protrude through the anus. Symptoms of external hemorrhoids include painful swelling or lump around the anus. When irritated, external hemorrhoids can itch or bleed. Sometimes blood may pool in an external hemorrhoid and form a clot (thrombus), resulting in severe pain, swelling and inflammation.

I want to talk more about bleeding hemorrhoids as in most cases this is when you first discover you may have a problem,first Hemorrhoids bleeding is actually a common occurrence so try not to worry to much,what i’m trying to say is dont freak out just yet,i no it is totally embarrassing to go to the doctor and show things that you wouldnt normally show to your best friend but wait and here me out, you may not have to go down that route,but first on a more serious note

  When To See A Doctor

Rectal bleeding can occur with other digestive diseases, including colorectal cancer and anal cancer. Don’t assume thatbleeding is coming from hemorrhoids without consulting a doctor. Your doctor can do a physical examination and perform other tests to diagnose hemorrhoids and rule out more serious conditions or diseases. You should also seek medical advice if your hemorrhoids cause pain, bleed frequently or excessively, or don’t improve with home remedies.
Seek emergency care if you experience large amounts of rectal bleeding, lightheadedness, dizziness or faintness.

  Who gets hemorrhoids
 
Just about everyone has hemorrhoids at some time. But some things may make you more likely to get them. People whose parents had hemorrhoids may be more likely to get them. Pregnant women often get hemorrhoids because of the strain from carrying the baby and from giving birth. Being very overweight, or standing or lifting too much can make hemorrhoids worse.There are many cases of people in there early twentys who have suffered from hemorrhoids so if your reading this dontworry you are not alone there is help.

  So What can you do about hemorrhoids

Well there are a lot of things you can do if you have been diagnosed and you dont wont the embarrassment of keep going to the doctor,what you really want to avoid is constipation and the way to do this is,Include more fiber in your diet. Fresh fruits, leafy vegetables, and whole-grain breads and cereals are good sources of fiber.
Drink plenty of fluids (except alcohol). Eight glasses of water a day is ideal.
Exercise regularly.
Avoid laxatives, except bulk-forming laxatives such as Fiberall, Metamucil, etc. Other types of laxatives can lead todiarrhea, which can worsen hemorrhoids.When you feel the need to have a bowel movement, don’t wait too long to use the bathroom.

Relieving The Pain

Take warm baths.
Clean your anus after each bowel movement by patting gently with moist toilet paper or moistened pads such as baby wipes.
Use ice packs to relieve swelling.
Use acetaminophen (Tylenol), ibuprofen (Motrin) or aspirin to help relieve pain.
Apply a cream that contains witch hazel to the area or use a numbing ointment. Creams that contain hydrocortisone can be used for itching or pain.
