I bought this for my wife yesterday for a birthday gift, and so far so good. Light, fast, and good battery life only $499.00 at Office Max until 7-17-10. I used the WiFi and a usb powered cooling pad for half the time and got about 3 Hrs, so maybe 4 Hrs without a cooling fan on and power saver mode on. FYI, I used the cooling fan because my wife’s lap pad is warped, bad for cooling, the laptop itself is very silent, only noticeable sound is the fan when it got warm, I loaded her programs and files on it and it took about 4 hours. For the specs it is very much worth $500. Amazon is normally very competitive, not so much this week on the model compared to my local Office Max.
