If you have decorated your child’s room around a dinosaur theme then you probably used dinosaur bedding as the focal point of the room. A brightly colored comforter with a dinosaur motif and dinosaur pillowcases is a great way to anchor the room around dinosaurs and kids will enjoy long hours playing on that dinosaur covered bed. Most bedding for kids needs to be washable at home and cotton/poly blends for comforters and 100% cotton sheets are the way to go. All cotton sheets are soft and will be great to snuggle under in the winter time.

No decorating plan could be complete without including dinosaur toys to go along with the bedding. Stuffed dinosaurs would look good sitting next to and on top of the bed. Don’t forget dinosaur murals and stickers to liven up the rest of the room. Dinosaurs covering the walls could make the room the next Jurrassic Park and be a fun room for older kids to play and hide out in.

Trips to museums are a good place to pick up some of the more exclusive dinosaur items. Often dinosaur models or wooden skeletons can be found to show off the different dinosaur types and help your child learn how all of the bones go together. T-shirts commemorating the dinosaur exhibit are also available and most kids are thrilled to show off their love of dinosaurs with an exciting shirt.

Once you start down the dinosaur road there is no looking back, so add all the dinosaur toys you can and do up the room right.
