This is a review of the Logitech X-540 5.1 Surround Sound Speaker System with Subwoofer. Hi folks! My name is James and this is my review of the Logitech X540 Speakers System. The reason I’m writing this review is because I have a more expensive Logitech speaker system already, and I got this cheaper one for my son and I want to compare them both in order to assist my readers in making a money wise decision when as they are looking to purchase this product on the Internet. Before I begin my Logitech x 540 review, I want to mention again that I already got a more expensive version (Logitech G51 Surround Sound 5.1 Speaker System) and I got a review for it HERE.
About a month ago my son Jairek asked me to buy him a new pair of speakers because his broke down and, he was doing good is school so that would be only fair to reward him for that. Immediately I got on Amazon and started looking for a cheaper version of my own speakers that will also give good quality for its price. I almost got the Logitech X530 but, I noticed that there is a newer version (Logitech X-540) and from a weird reason it was also $1 cheaper, I read the reviews, compared the details and purchased it.
The company promised many cool features on the product’s official page and I was able to compare its claims to what the product really is, and here are my conclusions: the company claimed that you can connect the system to any MP3, PC and CD player and this is because the main cable can be plugged to most common devises, I was able to plug it to my Nokia N97 and to my sons IPhone 3G. the company also said that the subwoofer in this system has deeper bass and it pumps really loud, the truth is from what I’ve experienced, is that the Bass is actually quite soft, but I guess it’s just a matter of taste.
As for the Logitech x 540 review opinion, I think that this is a nice and a genuine product. It’s defiantly not the next word in the surround speaker’s technology but, it’s pretty good. My son is really happy with the purchase and he said that watching movies with this new system is an outstanding experience compared to his old speakers and also, his gaming experience is on a whole new level now. The only thing I did not like was the “square” design, I like my stuff rounded 
but my son doesn’t seem to really care. This is the end of my review, I hope you liked it!
