As I said already I have a real drum kit at my garage and I enjoy playing it very much but when I’m going somewhere with friends or family I want to demonstrate my skills to them and it wasn’t really possible. A couple months ago was the first time I saw this kind of a drum pad at some friend’s place. Without further hesitation I decided to get one for myself, so I’ll be able to take it with me when I’m going out to the beach with friends, or to family trips. After searching the internet and reading many reviews I got from Amazon the Yamaha DD65 Digital Drum Pad.
Details
As I was using the Yamaha DD65 Digital Drum Pad for the past 3 months I was able to test its qualities for myself. First of all it has built in speakers which work great but when I’m taking it outdoors I’m bringing my own speakers and plug them externally. The product description says that “The DD-65 has been faithfully designed from a drummer’s point of view, with pads placed where drummers expect them to be, making it easier for experienced drummers to play the product and for beginners to make the transition to an acoustic kit” and as a drummer myself I can only verify this fact, using the drum pad is easy and comfortable. It’s small and not heavy at all so It has portability.
Conclusion
Personally I have to admit that I’m very satisfied with the purchase I made. I’m using it every chance I got and it’s been nothing but fun, of course it’s not my garage drum kit but a great replacement when I’m not home. After buying it I read some reviews and most of the people share my opinion of the product, this one guy complained about the speakers being weak but as I said I plug my own.
