The lucky 7 useful tips in applying for a job.

Every year, influx of fresh graduates from colleges and universities are increasing and will then be looking for a job that may suit to their chosen courses. Unfortunately, not all graduates can get hired immediately. The reason can be that it may not be the right time for some or they might fail in doing what should be the right way.
Below are some suggestion that can be useful in job application.

1. Resume. It’s just a piece of paper however it contains short information of your profile, your objective, and the kind of job that interests you.  Information about yourself and objective should be concise and honest. Some people prepares three-pages resume because almost everything about themselves from name down to educational attainment to unecessary skills or abilities are included, while some only prepare one page resume. It’s important that you have to be informative but it’s not necessary that everything is there. Just a simple resume will do.

2. Try formulating some possible questions and provide some straightforward answers. This is true and by doing so, you are like preparing a weapon to use in the battlefield. You can create a question like “How did you know that we are hiring today?”, “why did you apply in our company?”, “how much salary are you expecting to receive?”, “how do you see yourself 10 years from now?”, “Can you provide 5 top reasons why we should hire you?”, “why is there a manhole?”, etc. Answering these kind of questions can be very hard to come up in mind but there’s a saying that constant practice makes perfect. You can write your answers as a draft and review over and over until you find your answer better enough. Take note. Do not memorize your prepared questions and answer. Why? You may forget your best answer in an interview. When that happens you find yourself in a blank space with your mouth ajar. Anticipation is the key. Memorization is not the key.

3. Prepare for an interview. You must not be late during your interview. You have to be an hour or 30 minutes before your interview starts. Before leaving home, make sure you wear your best bib and tucker. Apply perfume as needed. Wear blue polo or stiped blue polo shirt. Some say that blue colored polo or long sleeve polo is attractive to the interviewer’s eyes. Consider it your lucky day.

4. Do not sit until you are told to do so. Make and impression to the interviewer. Offer your hands to him or her when he or she offers it first.

5. Greet him or her with a pleasant smile.

6. Sit properly and do not cross your legs

7. Breathe easily and stay relaxed. It’s normal to be shaky or nervous but learn to control your self.

You are here in this page because you might be looking for a job soon. Try applying these methods if you like.
