The Other Guys is an entertaining movie that is above the list and tacky, but in the right direction. It is also full of action and explosions. There are not many moments in the film that the audience does not laugh. Terry Hoitz and Allen Gamble, played by Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell are partners and the riders of office.
Gamble was taken to the coroner and loves her office job. Hoitz used to be on the street until he shot Derek Jeter, who hates being trapped behind a desk and cannot wait getting back into action. Throughout the movie, Ferrell’s performance is really the most subtle of the two, is on the top when his character is provoked. Wahlberg is constant and at random from the top, but it is fun and works well because of his annoyed and unstable personality.

Michael Keaton is perfect as Gene, the police captain, who is completely stunned by the mess of Hoitz and Gamble make around. He also cites TLC random songs and swears he does not know what does. Keaton is so corny, but works well with his character. This is without doubt the best role that Keaton has more than a decade. Dwayne Johnson and Samuel L. Jackson, like Danson and Highsmith, are parodies of action roles they famous of. The fact that they know the way to be hard and fun make their performance very entertaining.
The action scenes in the movie tries to be exciting, but that left me dizzy, with many quick cuts and camera shake action they consider to be exaggerated for comic value. However, the explosions in the film are quite good, and sometimes incredibly funny. Much of the humor of the other guys just repeat, random and being intentionally bad it’s funny. There is a great night montage at the center of the film that is very well done and incredibly fun. Overall, you must be liked the other guys. People who love parodies and bad movies will be happy, but those who are looking for the next, the hangover will be disappointed.
