Pros

Good value:  This gets the job done with very little money spent. The carrying case is plastic but heavy duty.

Size: It fits  comfortably in the hand and feels fine when lifting. The bar is a standard 1 inch diameter and can fit up to 8 weights on one bar (4 on one end and 4 on the other). You can always add bigger weights.

Weights Plan on adding a few more 5 pounder or 10 pounders to it, is all – they are available separately so no big deal. I’ve set these bars up with 65 pounds of weights with no problem

Cons For some exercises the 14 inch bars get in the way compared to simple hex dumbbells, and it does take a while to change weights between moves, but it’s tolerable, especially compared to blowing $500 on adjustable weights with plastic adjustment tabs, no less.
