Don’t be fooled into thinking that photography begins and ends with your digital camera, or even with your mobile phone as some people seem to think. There are loads of really cool photography gadgets around these days that you can get to do all sorts of really cool stuff.

One of my favourites is a waterproof casing for your digital camera. Of course you can also go the whole hog and get a specially built waterproof camera (check this article out for the best waterproof camera gadgets including a diving mask with integrated camera) but it is also pretty cool to be able to just click your regular camera inside a waterproof case and then be able to use it around the pool while playing with the kids, or underwater while snorkeling or diving, or anywhere else around water.

For nature lovers who like to go out bird watching or spotting wildlife of other kinds, as well as for amateur astronomers, you can also get binoculers with a built in camera, which I think is quite nifty myself.
