HighDEAS TV show as the entertainment industry is getting a good whiff of what is out there at ground level. Comedy Central has a site (Atom.com) that its head of original programming and development, Kent Alterman, calls a “development laboratory for short films” and the network regularly pulls original concepts from other video websites for possible series development. Blogs are less fertile ground for the cable network, but it is developing highDEAS.com, a site Alterman describes as “a place where people put out ideas that came to them while they were under the influence.”
Comedy, notes Alterman, is uniquely qualified to make the jump from Web to TV or film. He said, “You can consume comedy in short form. I don’t think people are going on the Web for one-hour dramas. Good ideas come from all directions and in any form. We don’t rule anything out.” As you know, a game section, cause thinks of all the people who come on here high, it would be nice to have the option to play some games. And they would be games that are super fun when you’re high.

The most negative reaction Dan has faced so far has come from HighDEAS.com, another “stoner website,” where users submit ideas and thoughts they had while high. It gets over 170,000 unique visits a month, according to Quantcast, and has secured both a book deal and a reality-show pilot with Comedy Central that’s being executive produced by Michael Davies’ Embassy Row.
Weed made this man a very fun, affectionate father. My dad was always just the same. If I had a kid I would be the same way too. Weed not only makes you happier, it makes it able for you to see things how a child can, and relate to them better. It’s a miracle drug. Because how many other 20-something year-old tattooed, ear-gaged fathers are going to be out there avoiding their responsibilities, trying to get away from a kid and lady they knocked up, compared to how many face up to it, getting blazed and loving their child like a parent should.
One recent poster on the site, an alleged employee of McDonald’s, wrote, “I work at McDonalds and it’s so great when the high people roll through the drive thru because I know I’m making they’re day so much better by providing them with mountains of burgers, mcnuggets, and fries. The dollar menu was made for stoners.” Admittedly, the account at highDEAS TV show is apparently not going to save the world, but it abiding is fun account them.
