Martin Short characters have just faced the real about being left by his lovely wife, Nancy Dolman. It was so unfortunately as you know, Dolman died at the age of 58, after a 30-year-marriage with short. They had three children together. “Sadly, we can confirm that Martin Short’s wife did pass away, we do not have any other comment to make.”
There is not much information on Nancy Dolman’s death so far, but we know the LAFD responded an emergency call on Saturday that directed them to the couple’s home. Dolman worked during the 70s and 80s appearing regularly in TV series Soap. Later in the 80s decade she retired to be a full-time mother.

A representative for the actor, Marc Gurvitz, confirmed the sad news to the AP but provided no cause of death or any additional details. She was born in Ontario Canada in 1952 and married fellow Canadian Short in 1980. The pair met while working together in a production of “Godspell.” Together they are parents to Katherine, 27, Oliver, 24, and Henry, 20. Dolman retired from performing in 1985 to raise their family.
The thespian couple, who met in the 1970s while performing in a Candian production of Godspell, had three adult children together. Short, who in recent years has played creepy just as proficiently as he pulls off funny, is nominated for an Emmy for his supporting role in the FX drama Damages. The Emmys, on the other hand, are decided by a jury of anywhere from 50 to 200 TV academy members who work in the same discipline. Actors vote for actors, in other words based on a single and submitted episode. The performer is judged on that one episode and that episode only and not on the totality of her work over the course of a season.
In other categories, look for Martin Short to possibly win supporting actor (drama) in Damages and Christina Hendricks to do the same for supporting actress, in Mad Men. Ty Burrell is the favorite of the Modern Family nominees for supporting actor (comedy) and the irrepressible Jane Lynch seems poised to take the Emmy for supporting actress, for Glee. Short received an Emmy nomination for his role on the show. A new season of Damages will air on DirecTV’s 101 Network in 2011. Hopefully, Martin Short characters on the movie won’t change much after he was left by his wife.
