Foods and Exercise work hand in hand in promoting our body’s health and fitness. Conversely, when our back suddenly aches (which can happen a lot) both back exercises and nourishing foods can also work together to promote our aching backs to get better.
Back aches and pains are caused by numerous factors and most of the times, experts suggest that we take some exercises in order to keep those pains away or at bay. By exercising, we are able to maintain a good body posture for instance with yoga or pilates, we lose extra amount of weight and we also build and form our muscles. All these will not only make those backaches go away but will also contribute to the general health of our bodies. Yet we cannot possibly exercise even our fingers if our body has no enough nourishment. Such sustenance can only be obtained by eating proper and nutritional foods.
There are many types of foods which we can eat in order to gain the much needed minerals, vitamins and other nutrients needed to promote good health and great back condition.
Antioxidants are very important in keeping the back in good shape. Antioxidants which we can get from garlic, sweet potatoes, tomatoes and oranges can help lessen the amount of free radicals which can annihilate the cartilage of the joints.
When our body has insufficient amount of minerals and vitamins we effectively experience back pains and slows the circulation of blood in our back thus causing stiffness. Vitamin A can be obtained from fruits (fresh and dried), grains, oils, beans and meats. It keeps the bones fit and rejuvenates the skin cells. Vitamin B6 is found in sunflower seeds, bananas and nuts. Vitamin B12 is from chicken, fish, seaweeds and dairy products. Vitamin C is from fruits and vegetable like oranges, guavas, tomatoes and bell pepper. Vitamin D from milk and butter are essential in calcium absorption that are good for bones and joints. There are also fats that are beneficial in treating ailments of the joints. These are fats from soy and avocado.
