Braces are a corrective solution and is a great option to straighten teeth structure. Dental braces or orthodontic braces are used to align and position one’s teeth and are used mainly on children, but adults can use them too. One of the main concerns for people who have had this braces is to decide what to eat and what not to eat. Braces can be damaged if proper care is not taken by the person. Foods must be carefully selected not to affect the braces. Certain foods such as taffy, carrots that are crunchy, hard foods like tortilla chips, chicken wings, ribs, pretzels that are hard,  should be avoided because they can damage braces. Sticky foods such as caramels, bubble gum should be avoided too. Avoid soft drinks such as coke and fanta.
