Tony Blair on Gordon Brown in A Journey | Blair Memoirs
Tony Blair believes that he was predestined to become Prime Minister. He woke his wife, the eminent QC and property developer, to tell her of his vision. Along with this rubbish Bliar also gives insights into his relationship with adversary and then Chancellor of the Exchequer Gordon Brown. It seems their relationship declined in 2004 – Bliar is not very accurate about the date.
Don’t Mention the War
Actually, it declined in 2003 when Blair stuck his tongue up the arse of the most stupid Republican US President there has ever been – and that takes some doing. Blair loved George W Bush but worse than that Blair became a warmonger. Gordon Brown wasn’t so sure and that was the problem. Of course, this is not pinpointed in Blair’s version of events in A Journey, the memoirs and last ditch attempt of Blair to have influence on the future of the Labour Party: more than anything else in the world Blair wants to remove any Socialist element from the party which was started by British workers in an attempt to stop the toffs treating them like excrement. Don’t let him do it!
