I wrote this article to cover all the things you might not think about ahead of time for a successful party.
I discuss in detail the ways you can decorate your house including spooky pumpkins, skeletons, ghosts, spiders and so forth. Of course, children need nourishments, so I have a great punch recipe that has a frozen hand sticking out of it to keep with the scary theme. I also included 2 recipes for cupcakes with one being much faster than the other, so it is up to you to choose what fits you time table.
You have to keep children somewhat under control, so I listed numerous fun games they can play. Amazon has a great selection of very reasonably priced games that will keep the children focused and not running around the house in multiple directions. This is a lot of fun for the children and usually the adults. I also showed a few costume ideas for children and some for the adults also, as they might as well get in the spirit of things.
You might be a little tired after the party, but the memories your children will have are priceless. Then there will be all the pictures and maybe videos you took so you can sit in the rocking chair and reminisce when the children are adults.
