The best pocket camcorders are really excellent little gadgets and I have to say that I have totally fallen in love with the things recently. They are amongst my very favorite bits of technology at the moment.

And the thing is, that as thos crazy scientists have gotten better and better and making things small, these tiny pocket devices are now almost as good as their full sized counterparts. That wasn’t always the case. When the first small ‘flip’ camcorders came out – which I think were the first ones to be designed to fit easily into your pocket for being carried around – there was a really noticable different in quality of the recording. Nowadays, although they will obviously not have the same number of features that you would expect from a top of the range full size camcorder, you can still get the same high quality HD recording, and without having to pay a fortune for it either.

And that high quality really is evident when you compare it to the kind of quality that you get on most mobile phones. A phone is ok for still pictures and for just having everything all in one device, but if you love to be able to make good quality videos to help being your memories to life then I would say that it is definitely well worth going out and getting yourself one of these pcoket camcorder devices as they are pretty cool, easy to carry around without even noticing that you have them until they are needed, and just really fun to use.
