Tyler Clementi, a student at Rutgers University, committed suicide on September 22, 2010, after discovering that his school roommate, live-streamed Tyler Clementi in an encounter with another male student without his knowledge. The lawyer who represents the Clementi family confirmed this. It has been learned that Clementi jumped off the George Washington Bridge. ABC News reported that Clementi had left a message on his Facebook page that read “jumping off the gw bridge, sorry.” Currently, investigators have not confirmed the suicide because there has been no body found.
